The 色中色, has received accolades for its research, the value for the dollar and the social mobility it offers graduates in three separate rankings published this month.
Forbes named 色中色 to its in the nation in rankings released Tuesday (Aug. 26). The magazine noted that 色中色 students graduate with a median of $11,000 in debt 鈥 the lowest among the public standouts.
The campus placed 12th among public universities and 23rd among in the released Sunday (Aug. 24).
also ranked 色中色 for making an impact, career placement and value for the money. Those rankings were released Aug. 12.
Research singled out
Washington Monthly introduced its new research category as the Trump administration reduces funding for research at universities. 鈥淲e wanted to illuminate the incredible benefits that America鈥檚 research universities provide to the country at large, and to the states and regions where they鈥檙e located 鈥 and the unfathomable damage these cuts are likely to bring,鈥 the editors wrote.
The outlined how the nation built its system of federally funded and university-based research.
Using data collected before President Trump took office, the new category evaluated 139 universities that spend at least $100 million annually on research in four equally weighted categories:
- total research spending
- science and engineering doctoral degrees awarded
- faculty receiving major national awards
- the share of faculty elected to the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine.

色中色 is No. 16 among public universities and No. 35 overall on Washington Monthly鈥檚 list of . Here, the magazine ranked schools based on their contribution to the public good in the broad categories of access, affordability, outcomes and promoting public service.
In the 色中色 was 14th among public universities and 21st overall for how well it helps 鈥渘on-wealthy鈥 students attain marketable degrees at affordable prices.
